I am the Assistant Headteacher at Deptford Green, focusing on student climate and culture. From the moment I stepped into Deptford Green, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the students and immediately felt the strong sense of community that makes this school so special.

My teaching background is in Humanities, specialising in Religious Education and Citizenship. In addition, I manage Key Stage 3 pastoral teams (Y7/Y8/Y9) and oversee the school's behaviour provisions.

My own positive experiences in school led me to pursue a career in education, as I understand the crucial role that a supportive and inspiring school environment plays in a child’s life. I am passionate about ensuring your child has a similarly positive and enriching experience here at Deptford Green. My goal is to enhance the positive atmosphere in our classrooms and ensure that every student can access our curriculum.

I work closely with our Deputy Headteacher on strategic planning for student wellbeing and support smooth transitions from primary to secondary school.  I am committed to fostering a community where students feel proud to be part of the Deptford Green family, exploring and discovering their true selves.
