Regent Hill School, Botswana Visit, 2024
Deptford Green were very fortunate to have the super talented Regent Hill students from Botswana visit on 7th May 2024.
DG students thoroughly enjoyed working with these incredibly talented children and performing for the Year 7 cohort.
As well as this, our students participated in a Marimba workshop, led by Ishe where, through collaboration, the Regent Hill students taught them to play The Lion Sleeps tonight on traditional instruments including Mariambas and Mbiras.
We are very grateful to Wendy and James from the Daneford Trust who helped organise this spectacular event and opportunity.
