"I have worked as a nurse in the NHS for the past 25 years and my current role is as the Lead Cardiac Research Nurse at King’s College Hospital. As a public sector employee and as a manager of staff and budgets within the NHS, I hope that I am able to bring some experience and helpful insights into committee and full governor's meetings.

I have been an associate member on the governing board of Deptford Green School since 2018, when the then headteacher put out a request for increased parental involvement on the governing body. I have three children, two of whom still attend Deptford Green, and one who is now at university having flourished at DG. I am proud that my children go to their local, mixed, non-denominational, non-selective, local authority-maintained community school and I will strive, as an associate member, to ensure that Deptford Green remains focussed on supporting every student’s journey towards achieving their full potential."
