Have you enjoyed your first couple of months at Deptford Green School?
I have really enjoyed my first few weeks here at Deptford Green. I have been welcomed so much and everyone is so kind and lovely. All the classes have all been so fun and entertaining.
What have you enjoyed most so far?
I have enjoyed DT the most as I love doing abstract drawing and being creative.
I also love lunch because there are so many choices for vegetarian and all other food diets.
What has been done at school to help you settle in?
The teachers here at Deptford Green in the beginning gave us activities on talking to new people and getting to know each other and I have made so many more friends now.
What was the biggest change between primary and secondary school?
I think the biggest change is from being the oldest at one school to then being the youngest at the next school. Also, you study completely new things.
What is your favourite subject and why?
I love DT because I feel really at home because my dad is an artist and I love creating things and drawing. I feel like I can be myself there and hang out with my friends but also doing what I love.
Have you taken part in any extracurricular activities so far?
I have taken part in the clubs:
- Junk Kouture
- Art club
- Football club
What are you most looking forward to ofr the rest of the year?
Learning more and more, and discovering new things.
