Year 10 Students Visit to Gonville and Caius College Cambridge
On a sunny spring day, Year 10s met students reading Linguistics, the History of Politics and Psychology for a Q&A about life as a Cambridge student, from food to accommodation to workload and why they decided to study there.
After a tour of the college and a visit to the beautiful library, Year 10s were treated to lunch in the dining hall and a visit to The Fitzwilliam Museum.
It was an informative day; students gained a better understanding of the application process and the specific learning environment provided. Year 10s felt empowered and could see that learning at a top university, whether Cambridge or another, could be within their reach: "I enjoyed the day and I think I will apply"
