Football - Year 7 Girls Blackheath Cup Fixture

Our Y7 Girls football team performed so well in the Blackheath Cup Y7 Girls Final and were runner ups in their final from all Lewisham schools.
Again the ladies received a special celebration with Ms Thurston for Hot Chocolate Friday.
Football - Year 11 Boys win The Blackheath Cup Final 23
Wednesday 26th April 2023
All the year 11 football team’s hard work paid off last Thursday as they beat John Roan in front of over 100 spectators at the Meridian Sports Ground. The game was a cagey affair with the first half ending 0-0.
The second half continued in a similar fashion with the defences of both teams looking really strong. In the final moments of the game a free kick was awarded to Deptford Green on the edge of their opponent’s penalty area. Vice-captain Alan stepped up and put a well worked free-kick past the opposition’s goalkeeper. Louis picked up the games man of the match award for a flawless display in the middle of the park.
With the team being undefeated their attention turneds to their Inner London Cup final on the 10th May.
The boys achievement was celebrated with a special 'Hot Chocolate Friday' with Ms Thurston. Her office was very full indeed"

After observing a 1 minute silence for Mr Couzins the Y11 Football Team beat Prendergast Ladywell School 3-2 in a very tough game.
The boys are now into the Blackheath Cup Final. Their minds turn to bringing it home in their final year. Good luck boys and well done.
Football - Year 7 Girls Blackheath Cup Fixture
We are so proud of the Year 7 Girls Football Team who have made it to the Blackheath Cup Final.
It was such a close game against Hatcham, 1:1 after fulltime, 1:1 again after 5 penalties and then Grace stepped up in sudden death to score the winning penalty. Well done Girls and good luck in the final!
Year 8 Table Tennis Fixture
On Tuesday 7th February a group of male and female PE enthusiasts from Year 8 when to Bonus Pastor Catholic College for a table tennis tournament.
Everyone involved enjoyed the experience and were able to put their table tennis skills to the test.
Year 8 / 9 Basketball Fixture
On Monday 6th February the 8 / 9 basketball played St Matthews in a friendly match, winning 25-08.
All the boys involved played exceptionally well on the day and demonstrated the schools' GREAT values.
Roshan (pictured below) was awarded Man Of The Match. Well done team!
